National Public Land's Day

On September 30, 2006, National Public Lands Day, 45 volunteers and board members worked together at three areas in the Park.  As it was "fee free day" we were allowed to collect donations at the gate.  We also sold our T-shirts and memberships at the Visitors Center.  In the morning, we worked at Devastation Trail along with Rhonda Loh from Resources Management to remove invasive "knotweed" (Polygonum capitatum).

Mahalo to all!
