We co-sponsor the Youth Ranger program for underserved high school students to work in the park every summer.
Park Advocacy
Friends of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park advocate by educating the public, engaging policymakers, and protecting park resources, to help ensure our park remains protected, funded, and accessible for future generations.
Pōhue Kahuku Land Management
The Friends support conservation and maintenance projects in the non-public areas of the Park.
Hale Kīlauea
The Friends funded the construction of Hale Kilauea and continue to maintain and care for it at the park’s summit.
Park Maintenance
The Friends support various maintenance and equipment repair projects throughout the Park.
