Episode 33 of the Eruption in Halemaʻumaʻu on September 19, 2025
Photo by Janice Wei Episode 33 lava fountaining ended on Friday, September 19, after approximately 9 hours of high fountains. Glow from the vents was observed overnight. The summit is reinflating, and models indicate that episode 34 is likely to start between September 28 and October 1.
